The Elite IQ laser can be used for the treatment of superficial and benign varicosities that are often called talangiectasis. These are most often found on the face and legs. The Elite IQ uses the theory of selective photothermolysis which uses a specific wavelength in which the target chromophore absorbed this wavelength.
This means that for vascular lesions the specific chromophore is oxyhemoglobin. Once sufficient fluence (energy) reaches the blood vessel it will cause the desired effect, which is stopping the blood flow to the vessel, causing the blood vessel to coagulate and
eventually disappear.
This treatment is non invasive and usually takes 1-3 treatments depending on the size of the varicosity. There is no down time and is relatively painless.

Spider veins, medically known as telangiectasias, are tiny, thin veins that lie close to the surface of the skin and often appear red or blue. They are commonly found on the legs and face. Spider veins treatments refer to a range of medical procedures designed to reduce or eliminate their appearance.
The primary benefit is the reduction or elimination of the unsightly appearance of spider veins, leading to clearer, healthier-looking skin.
Some people experience itching or burning from spider veins; treating them can alleviate these symptoms.
With clearer skin, many individuals feel more confident in their appearance.
Treating spider veins can prevent them from becoming more extensive or from developing into varicose veins, which are larger, bulging veins that can have associated symptoms.
The Elite iQ device can be safely used on all skin types, and is most commonly used on superficial varicosities located on the face and legs.
The number of treatments and treatment times will vary, depending on the size of the area being treated. Each treatment typically takes less than 30 minutes. Speak to your provider for a consultation to discuss treatment areas and number of treatments required.
Treatments are virtually painless, using advanced air cooling causing it to be more comfortable.
Typically, there is little to no downtime, and you can quickly return to your daily activities
following the procedure. Experience may vary by patient; ask your provider what you can expect.
Other treatments that are often done instead of the Elite IQ laser: Why don’t we take this section out. That includes Sclerotherapy, laser treatment, endogenous laser treatment, and Radio frequency occlusion. I think this would be great blog to write. The different treatments advantages etc.
This is the most common treatment where a saline solution or another medicated solution is injected into the vein, causing it to collapse and eventually fade. While the majority of patients do not experience any serious problems, some may develop bruising, swelling, or itching at the injection site. In rare cases, sclerotherapy can lead to more serious complications such as blood clots or allergic reactions.
