The first step will include washing and numbing the face. Then your blood will be drawn from your arm, the blood will then be placed in a centrifuge. The blood will be spun two times for several minutes. At that point, the red blood cells will drop to the bottom of the tube, and the plasma will be at the top of the tube. (This is the gold serum).

That serum will then be extracted from the tube. At our office we have several options in regards to plasma facials. For those individuals looking for a more superficial treatment microneedling can be performed, also deeper microneedling with RF (radio frequency) can be performed, or individual injections of plasma can be injected into the areas where you need it most.

These areas can include under the eyes, smile lines, and acne scars. Recovery is virtually non-existent as it is a non-surgical procedure, with usually only slight tenderness for a day or two in the areas treated. Bruising and swelling may occur post injections but will heal quickly.
